Hi, I'm Manan Kapoor.

I am a writer, a storyteller, and an observer of the little things.

I believe that stories exist everywhere not only in books or films, but in the world around us. Sometimes, they are hidden in a conversation between two peoples and slowly become somethings you carry with you a memory a feeling or a connection that time doesn’t quite know how to erase. And that stays with us longer then we expected.

I write about the things I see, the moments I experience, and the thoughts that stay with me and inspire me to turn them into stories and share them with the world.

For me, writing is a way of noticing. I don’t always go looking for a story. Sometimes, I simply observe something, think about it, and let the words find their way onto the page.

Some of what you read here comes from reality. Some place are inspired by people, place, conversation and moments I’ve experienced. But somewhere in these stories, I hope you find a person, a memory, a feeling or a moment that feels familiar – something that makes you pause and think, ” I’ve felt this too. ”

The Ethos

Quiet moments, profound stories.

I don't go looking for stories. I just pay attention longer than most people bother to. That's usually enough.

If something you read here makes you stop and think, "I've felt this too" — that's the whole point. That's the only thing I'm actually trying to do.

My Commitment

Where observation becomes reflection. Where moments become words.
